If Art-Net is set to output on the 'Default' adaptor on new consoles
that have two network ports then it will output only on local area
connection 2. For Art-Net output you should use the right hand
connector as you look from the rear of the console or manually select
Local Area Connection 1 in Art-Net settings.
16.3 Version 6.1
16.3.1 Upgrading from: 6.0:
Please download the upgrade installer from our Avolites download
website. Once the download completes, run the installer on the
console and follow the instructions.
16.3.2 Changes
Avolites watermark: We have added the Avolites logo as a
watermark to the prompt area.
Pearl Expert wing settings: Re-instated the Pearl Expert wing
connection menu.
16.3.3 Bugs fixed
Loading show not presenting error report: Sometimes if errors
ocurred while loading a show the console would not present these
errors to the user.
Motorised fader update when changing page: If you changed
page on a console with motorized faders they would not always
return to zero. This depended on whether a handle was present on
the new page.
Cue numbers with 3 decimal places get truncated: Using cue
numbers with three decimal places would result in a truncated cue
number different from that specified.
DMX nodes not being displayed: Ocassionally when you loaded a
show the DMX view would show no nodes attached. The nodes were
present but they were not displayed.
Copying fixtures cells removes DMX address from source:
When copying fixtures which contain cells the original fixtures would
lose their DMX address and the original would need to be re-patched.
Loading large shows would timeout: When loading a large show it
would timeout and incorrectly state that the show have failed to load.
The show loading speed has been increased as well as stopping this
from happening.
Delay entering times and attribute times menu: Sometimes
there would be a long delay before the times and attribute times
menu would open. This was in the order of 20 seconds.
Large shows not loading correctly: Very large V5.0 shows would
not load correctly into V6. This has been fixed.
Console would not shutdown: Sometimes the console would not
shutdown correctly and would ask the user to force shutdown. This
had no adverse effect on the console and has now been resolved.
Upside down second screen: When connecting an external monitor
the screen would sometimes appear upside down.
